What we collect
Your name, email address, partial location (UK postcode, converted to approximate coordinates), dog profile details and photographs, swipes and matches, messages between members, and membership status.
Why we use it
To operate matching and messaging, to show approximate distance between members, to take payment for memberships, to keep the community safe, and to meet legal obligations.
What other members see
Your first name, your dog profiles and photos, and an approximate distance in miles. Your full postcode, email address and exact location are never shown.
Storage and retention
Data is stored securely in the UK/EEA. Dog photos are held in private storage and served only through short-lived signed links. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your data, and object to processing. Contact privacy@pimpmyhound.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
