Safety & responsible breeding
PimpMyHound is an introduction service. The welfare of every dog on the platform depends on members doing things properly.
Verify before you travel
Ask for vaccination cards, microchip numbers, KC papers and breed-specific health test results, and check the originals in person.
Meet in public first
Arrange an initial meeting in a neutral, public place. Bring someone with you and tell a friend where you're going.
Never pay in advance
PimpMyHound never asks for stud fees. Anyone requesting a deposit by bank transfer before you've met should be reported.
Know the law
Three or more litters in twelve months, or breeding as a business, requires a local authority licence in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Health comes first
Speak to your vet about age, hip and elbow scores, DNA screening and whether your dog is a suitable candidate at all.
Report anything off
Every profile and chat has Report and Block. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team.
