1. Who can use PimpMyHound
You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. You must be the legal keeper of any dog you list, or have the keeper's permission.
2. What PimpMyHound is
PimpMyHound is an introduction service. We connect dog owners; we do not breed, sell, transport or examine any dog, and we are not party to any arrangement you make with another member.
3. Responsible breeding
You must comply with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and, where applicable, the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 and equivalent Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish legislation. Anyone breeding three or more litters in a twelve-month period, or breeding as a business, must hold a local authority licence. Do not use PimpMyHound to sell puppies or to advertise banned breeds under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
4. Health and honesty
Health, vaccination and pedigree information is self-declared by members. Verify original documents yourself and take veterinary advice before any mating. Listing knowingly false information will result in removal.
5. Memberships and payments
Creating profiles, swiping and matching are free. Messaging requires a £6.99 per month membership, billed monthly and cancellable at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the membership continues to the end of the paid period. Statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are unaffected.
6. Conduct
No harassment, scams, requests for advance payment, commercial spam or misuse of another member's photographs. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PimpMyHound is not liable for the conduct of members, the health or behaviour of any dog, or the outcome of any mating or arrangement made through the platform. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
